Bite #24, Teaching immorality under the Guise of Health:

Reverend Ronald Watson:

“Last Friday (1984) I sat in on a health class that taught the (supposed) benefits of alcohol. The reason was that if they taught alcohol is hurting children they may offend an abusive parent. My son is scheduled to be advised on the ideal age to start having sexual intercourse when he enters 8th grade. In Health class in 1n 1985 students are expected to finish this sentence. “In my values system the ideal age to start having sexual intercourse is----------.” In the traditional christian moral system age is not the question. Marriage is the criterion. 

By leading the students to assume that age is the criterion, atheistic humanism is being taught. We parents have a right to protect our children from the godless “religion” and the irresponsibility it promotes. As a pastor I help people whose marriage needs strengthening to realize that God, our Creator, has established moral laws just as valid and relevant as the physical laws of gravity and nuclear physics, which He also established. People should abandon that irresponsible life style and with the help of God build a solid marriage of mutual respect and God given love.

Our schools teach an irresponsible sexual behavior such as is found with dogs and cats. The humanism our children are being taught is actually sub humanism. The schools refrain from teaching morals in order not to embarrass the parent who is immoral. the next step they take will be to refrain from teaching that stealing is wrong in order not to embarrass the parent who is a thief! Our children need to be protected against such teaching! End of Reverend Ronald Watson’s testimony:
