Court Transcripts: Testimony of William Seaman: Eagle Forum, Phyllis Schlafly: Child Abuse in the Classroom: Teaching liberal attitudes on divorce and opening the sores of divorce experiences for group discussions with pre adolescents leads to a progression in the divorce rate. 

 Teaching liberal attitudes in sexual behavior as acceptable behavior as alternative life styles. Everyone does it anyway attitudes will only breed immorality in society. A degeneration that has led to the down fall of many nations in history and a condition that even a prostitute would not wish on her child. 

 This teaching brings extreme social and psychological trauma in too young and too immature minds. Teaching death as an ultimate end---glorious in itself--- degrading life----and placing values on the “how much” and “whose” and so forth and not the “HOW” breeds dishonesty and selfishness in a definite secular movement. Indicative of the teachings of such programs as we are discussing here are increasing teen pregnancies, abortions, live in arrangements, divorces, etc....even to the point of suicide. 

The rate of pregnancies of Eddyville High School among its students and teen graduates coupled with live in arrangements, abortions, etc. has approached 75% level out of wedlock, not counting divorce and annulments. 

The shock of the community came this past year (1984) when one of our Lincoln County School graduates took his own life. He had parents who loved him dearly but through underlying philosophies surfacing in disciplining measures and reward systems in school about drugs and alcohol not really being bad and just a cycle everyone passes through, he described in the warnings he wrote to his friends and then he killed himself:
